ABOUT ME
I'm a 33 year old regular guy from Lisbon, Portugal. I just like fetish stuff. I've always enjoyed browsing the web for fetish photos and at one point I thought "it's probably much more fun to do the photos myself than to just look at them". Hence the website. It started just for fun, and still is just for fun.
I'm not a photographer myself. I have some notions of how the camera works, how lenses work, but I know nothing about light, and that's my biggest handicap.
I try to read some photography related articles when I have the time but I have too many things going to give this my full attention.
But... It's going up on the prority list...
ABOUT THE WEBSITE
Version 1
Dressing4Pleasure was born in early 2003. The main focus has been the same since the beginning: fetish clothing and footwear. This first version was hosted on a free web hosting provider: Tripod.
At the time I did not own a digital camera so the pictures were taken with a borrowed digital camera.
Version 2
Version 2 was still hosted at Tripod but it moved to a monthly format. So there would be a "main site", with links to each month's issue. This happened because the space at Tripod was very limited and i just wasn't enough anymore.
The "main site" is still online at http://dressing4pleasure.tripod.com.
In versions 1 and 2 the focus was a bit on the quantity of photos. Everything that looked fun would be published. No big concerns about backgrounds, lighting, etc.
In the meanwhile I had bought a Mustek GSmart LCD2. Made a lot of photos with this camera for the website.

This was obviously very limited so I decided to invest in a better camera: Canon PowerShot A60. Very nice camera indeed!

You'll see several albums with photos taken with this camera.
Version 3
This was in 2006 I think. Dressing4Pleasure got a subdomain at an online shop and started using a different format: the current galleries format using Coppermine Gallery.
Bigger focus on quality over quantity. Started concerning more about the backgrounds, the sets, the overall "photographic quality".
Version 4
This is the current version. I've registered Dressing4Pleasure.net and I'm still using the Coppermine format. And the focus on quality remains. The idea is to keep evolving.
I also got a new camera: Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W50.

This is still not the best camera for the job. I actually like the Canon best because it has a full manual mode, but the Sony will be good to make some videos.
Got a new camera and a couple filters (Aug.2008).
Canon PowerShot G3. The most relevant filter is the polarizer.
